Volunteers coming from numerous different educational institutions including University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Science, Daemen University, and SUNY Polytechnic Institute recently traveled to The Holy Cross School to offer a STEM Camp Program based in Makhanda, South Africa. This camp, piloted in January 2023, is a 5-day camp designed to equip and inspire students to learn foundational STEM concepts and give them confidence in their ideas and skills. Students explore 5 different stations throughout the week to experience action-packed, hand-on, fun-filled activities. The camp focuses on concepts in robotics, physics, and in areas beyond what their curriculum may not already cover. We are proud to have partnered with this group for 2 years in a row!
